UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM
Entry requirements
Students are admitted to the Special Education Teaching Undergraduate program according to the verbal score type from the undergraduate placement exam conducted by ÖSYM. In 2024, 50 students were admitted to the undergraduate program with a ranking of 3558 and a base score of 449.024.
Education Opportunities
Students of our department; Psychological Counseling and Guidance, Preschool Teaching and Classroom Teaching departments can take double major and minor education.
Thanks to the Erasmus program, which our university is also involved in, student mobility is provided between the students of our department and the special education departments of universities in foreign countries.
Graduation Opportunities
In addition to undergraduate education, graduate education is also provided in our department. Under the Institute of Educational Sciences, Department of Special Education, there is a Master's Program in Teaching the Mentally Handicapped with Thesis and a PhD Program in Special Education. Graduates of the Special Education Teaching undergraduate program can apply to both our department's master's program and other universities' master's programs related to special education and/or special education (Psychological Counseling and Guidance, Language and Speech Disorders, Measurement and Evaluation in Education, Classroom Teaching, Preschool Teaching, Classroom Teaching, Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Curriculum and Instruction, Educational Administration and Supervision, etc.).
